Stockton Thunder News Release

STOCKTON, Calif. - Professional Arena Football in Stockton is taking on a clearer identity. The official "Name the Team" contest has begun and is open to all fans, Stockton Football Franchise Group Team President Dan Chapman announced today.

"We had great fan response in naming our hockey team and we're now looking forward to a similar response with the naming of our af2 football team," said Chapman. "Fans are always very creative in these types of contests and truly assist ownership and management in making these important decisions."

One fan will be chosen as grand-prize winner of the contest, and will receive an official team jersey and two 2006 season tickets. Five (5) first prizes will be awarded, with winners receiving two 2006 season tickets. Ten (10) second-prize winners will be awarded an elaborate team merchandise package. Fans may submit multiple entries; however, one complimentary ticket will be awarded per person.
