Grizzlies Get Trio Back From Dallas

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that they have re-assigned goaltender Jason Bacashihua, left wing Mathias Tjarnqvist and defenseman Trevor Daley to the Grizzlies.

Bacashihua, 21, was re-called by Dallas on March 25th and dressed for four games but did not play. With the Grizzlies this season, the Garden City, Michigan native is 12-19-5 with a 2.70 goals against average and a .915 save percentage. Bacashihua was originally the 26th pick of the first round by the Stars in the 2001 NHL Draft.

Tjarnqvist, 24, has played in 57 games with Utah this season scoring 14 goals with 13 assists. In 18 games with Dallas, the Umea, Swden native has scored a goal and added an assist. Tjarnqvist was originally a third round selection of the Stars in the 1999 NHL Draft.

Daley, 20, has played in 39 games with Utah this season posting eight goals and six assists. In 27 games with Dallas, the Toronto native has scored a goal with five assists for six points. Daley was originally a second round selection of the Stars in the 2002 NHL Draft.

All three players should be available when the Grizzlies host the Rampage tonight at the 'E' Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
