Bears in Bridgeport tonight needing East Division points
April 3, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release
HERSHEY plays the third game of a season-high five game road trip tonight three points behind the Norfolk Admirals for the fifth and final East Division playoff spot. The BEARS announced in conjunction with the NHL's Colorado Avalanche on Saturday afternoon that defenseman Brett Clark has been recalled, and will not be available for the games in Bridgeport and Springfield this weekend. HERSHEY has a 3-2-1-1 record this season against the Sound Tigers, including a 1-0 win at the Arena at Harbor Yard on February 15th. The win was also the last time HERSHEY won away from GIANT Center. Sheldon Keefe, who injured his right leg Friday night at Philadelphia, is doubtful for tonight's game in Bridgeport. The Sound Tigers are currently in second place in the East Division.
Tonight's game can be heard on WSJW 92.7 FM. John Walton calls the action from Connecticut beginning at 6:45 p.m.
