Grizzlies Coach Christie To Hold Youth Skills Clinics Wednesday

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies, proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, today announced that Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie and Assistant Coach Kevin Colley will put on three separate skills clinics Wednesday, October 3rd at the Acord Ice Center. The evening is being sponsored by the Utah Jr. Grizzlies Youth Hockey Organization; but all youth players are welcome to attend with their respective age group.

Squirts (9-10 years) will go from 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., Peewees (11-12 years) from 7:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. and Bantams (13-14 years) from 8:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.

The players are asked to bring their hockey gear and be ready to be on the ice when their age group starts. The Acord Ice Center is located at 3100 South 5353 West in West Valley City.

The Grizzlies open training camp Sunday, October 7 at the Acord Ice Center. All practices are open to the public. For a complete schedule, visit www.utahgrizzlies.com.

The Grizzlies will host two preseason games. Friday, October 12 they will entertain Victoria at the Park City Ice Arena at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m., Utah and Victoria will meet at the Acord Ice Center. For preseason game ticket information, call (801) 988-PUCK.
