
Grizzlies Begin Final Homestand of the Regular Season Tonight

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies, 2015 Pacific Northern Division Champions, begin their final homestand of the regular season on Monday, August 31st at Chukchansi Park with 25-cent Hot Dog Night, courtesy of Armour Eckrich. The 7:05 PM game will start a span of eight straight days of baseball in Downtown Fresno as the club gears up for their first postseason appearance since 1998. The team takes on the Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, for a four-game set from August 31st through September 3rd and then wraps the regular season with a four-game series against the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, from September 4th through the 7th.
A 5-4-3-2-1 specialty ticket deal counts down the final five home games of the regular season, offering fans the opportunity to purchase Super View tickets on Thursday, September 3rd for $5, Friday for $4, Saturday for $3, Sunday for $2 and Monday for $1. The 5-4-3-2-1 deal can be purchased in person at the Chukchansi Park Box Office, which is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or online through FresnoGrizzlies.com (additional fees may apply). Limited quantities are available for this deal, so fans are urged to act quickly.
Prior to the start of the 5-4-3-2-1 deal, the club will offer 25-cent Hot Dogs (presented by Armour Eckrich) on August 31st, sell $2 Power Alley Tickets (day of game only), $2 Dos Equis drafts, $2 Sodas and $2 Hot Dogs when they turn the calendar to September on Tuesday night, and hold the Everybody Wins-Day promotion for the Wednesday, September 2nd game. If the Grizzlies win on Wednesday night, all fans in attendance will get a complimentary ticket of equal value to the Grizzlies' opening playoff game on Wednesday, September 9th at Chukchansi Park. Win or lose, all fans in attendance receive six free wings at Swiggs Restaurant & Bar (must show Wednesday ticket stub at location by September 9th).
Following the Wednesday night game, $5 Super View tickets are available on Tecate Thursday, which presents fans 21+ the ability to buy $2 24-ounce Tecate and Tecate Light, while all fans can indulge $1 12-ounce sodas. Farm Grown Friday on September 4th at 7:05 PM marks the final postgame fireworks show of the season, presented by PG&E. Super View tickets will be priced at $4 and fans can mosey about the concourse during the game to sample and purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, and other flavors from local vendors participating in the Whole Foods Farmer's Market.
Saturday night's 7:05 PM game features $3 Super View tickets and the Grizzlies celebrating the start of football season by wearing specialty themed Fresno State jerseys. The red and blue Bulldogs themed game-worn tops will be available for purchase at the game in a silent auction held along the first base concourse. A book giveaway greets the first 800 kids 14 and under, presented by Scholastic, while mascot character Geronimo Stilton appears along the concourse to meet fans and pose for photographs.
The 6:05 PM contest on Save Mart Sunday offers fans $2 Super View tickets and a unique opportunity to meet the entire 2015 PCL Northern Division Champion Fresno Grizzlies all at once! The club will hold a team autograph session from 4:05 PM to 5:05 PM for anyone holding a Sunday game ticket, giving fans one-on-one time to get signatures, photos, and exchange a little conversation with their favorite players and coaches. Family Catch on the Field occurs from 5:05 PM to 5:25 PM, while Kids Run The Bases, presented by Sun-Maid, happens after the final out of the game.
Fresno closes out the 2015 regular season on Monday, September 7th with Fan Appreciation Day during the 11:05 AM game. Super View tickets are available for $1 and the entertainment team will be rewarding select ticket holders with giveaways every inning. Gates to the park open at 10:05 AM. It also marks the last chance to purchase the Must Catch Monday deal, presented by The Fresno Bee, providing fans two Field Level Reserve game tickets, two Fresno Chaffee Zoo vouchers, two Blackbeard's Mini Golf vouchers, and two John's Incredible Pizza Company Kids Buffet vouchers for only $20.
PLAYOFFS BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 9th at CHUKCHANSI PARK
The 2015 Pacific Northern Division Champion Fresno Grizzlies have announced that tickets to all five potential home playoff games are on sale now. The two opening round games scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th at Chukchansi Park are guaranteed to happen, with three potential PCL Championship games also on sale.
Individual playoff tickets, group options, luxury suites, and multi-game packages are available for purchase at the Chukchansi Park Box Office, over the phone at 559.320.TIXS, or online. Individual tickets start as low as $10, with packages that include a ticket to each of the five possible home playoff games starting at $50. Fans can save up to 45% by purchasing a five-game playoff pack, while those looking to bring out a group are encouraged to call Andrew Milios (Director of Sales) at 559.320.2533. Those who purchase new full or half 2016 season tickets can get playoff tickets to all five potential games for free.
The Grizzlies will host the Pacific Southern Division winner on Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th at Chukchansi Park for Game 1 and 2 of the opening round of the playoffs. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:05 PM and will mark the first ever playoff games hosted in Downtown Fresno, since the last time the Grizzlies hosted a postseason game was in 1998 against Calgary when they played at Pete Beiden Field (Fresno State).
