Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies, in conjunction with the Salt Lake County Library system, announced today the details for the team's 2008 Grizz Kids Winter Reading Program.

All kids ages 5-14 are encouraged to participate in the Grizz Kids Winter Reading program at any County Library location until Mar. 31, 2008. All libraries have Grizz Kids reading records available for children to track their reading progress. When the record is complete, the child's parent or guardian can return it to the library and receive a voucher for a free ticket to the team's Salt Lake County Library Night April 5, 2008 at the E-Center when the Grizzlies host Stockton.

In addition, all children are invited to attend several story times with Grizzlies players at local libraries. During the story times, a Grizzlies player will read a story to those in attendance while also holding a question and answer session and signing autographs. The team's mascot Grizzbee will also be in attendance at the story times.

"We have a great partnership with the Salt Lake County Libraries and love the fact that we are able to combine reading and the sport of hockey into a positive experience for children all throughout the Wasatch Front," said Grizzlies Director of Operations/Broadcasting Adrian Denny.
