Friday, March 18, 2005 vs. Edmonton Road Runners
Time: 7:30 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).

Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $13, $15, $17, $20 and $25.
Tribute to "Slap Shot": In a tribute to the popular hockey movie "Slap Shot," fans can meet the famous Hanson Brothers in the banquet room from 6:30-7:20 p.m. The special edition Charlestown Chiefs jerseys worn by the Griffins that night will be auctioned to the public after the game, with proceeds benefiting the ALS Association West Michigan Chapter.
Oh, Canada!: In celebration of the Griffins' March home schedule against Canadian teams, fans can purchase lower bowl tickets in the south end of the arena (normally $17) at the "Canadian exchange rate" of $10 at the Van Andel Arena box office and The Zone, while supplies last. In addition, fans can register to win a trip to Toronto, including train transportation and hotel accommodations, courtesy of Activa Travel. The finalists from the Griffins' first five home games in March will compete for the prize at the game on March 20.
Youth Hockey: The Georgetown squirt team will skate during one of the intermissions.
Friday Fun Fest: Live music, games and activities on the arena concourse for the entire family to enjoy.
Subway Four Pack: For just $44, fans can purchase a package that includes four tickets, four coupons for Subway Fresh Meal Deals and parking. Available for all Friday night games.
Post-Game Autographs: Griffins players will sign autographs in the stands for 15 minutes during the Fox Mitsubishi Post-Game Autograph session.
Throw for Dough: Lake Michigan Credit Union offers fans the opportunity to win up to $5,000. Throughout the night, fans can purchase blue balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, fans can throw their balls at a target at center ice for a chance to win up to $5,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Grand Rapids Jaycees.

Stanley Cup: Fans can see and take pictures with the Stanley Cup in the banquet room from 3 p.m. until the game's conclusion (approximately 6:30 p.m.).

D&W Family Sunday: With a receipt of $20 or more from any D&W Food Store and the purchase of a $13 ticket, fans can receive a free ticket of the same value as a part of "D&W Family Sunday." These tickets must be purchased either at The Zone or at the Van Andel Arena box office. Only one free ticket will be given per receipt of $20 or more.
Post-Game Skate: The ninth Max & Erma's Post-Game Family Fun Skate with WSNX will take place. Fans who bring their own skates can hit the Van Andel Arena ice for 45 minutes after the game.
