Chicago Wolves News Release

On Tue., March 15, Chicago Wolves center and University of Denver graduate Kevin Doell will visit the Indian Prairie Public Library in Darien, 401 Plainfield Road, at 7 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 350,000 children in 10 seasons.

Doell will discuss the importance of recreational reading; dress a child in Wolves hockey gear; raffle Wolves prizes; and sign autographs.

The program, sponsored by Fisher Nuts, encourages children to spend more time reading at the library and for recreation. Every participant in the program sets an individual reading goal and has the opportunity to achieve incentive prizes such as Wolves duffle bags, "Read to Succeed" beanie pucks and game tickets for reaching his or her reading goals.

The Wolves work with the DuPage, North Suburban and Metropolitan Library Systems and their participating libraries, reaching more than 30,000 kids each year. Members of the Chicago Wolves will visit nearly 40 libraries throughout the Chicago area this season.
