Bears recall Lazarev from Wheeling

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that forward Yevgeny Lazarev has been recalled from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). The announcement was made this morning by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Lazarev skated for HERSHEY from 1999-2002, scoring 30 goals and assisting on 43 others during that span. He has 20 goals in 48 games in the ECHL this season, including 19 in 43 games while skating for Wheeling. He is expected to be available when the BEARS travel to Syracuse to face the Crunch Friday night at the War Memorial at OnCenter.

The BEARS travel to Syracuse and Bridgeport this Friday and Saturday before returning to face the Norfolk Admirals at GIANT Center Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available for Sunday's game at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 534-3911.
