
Greyhounds Trim Roster Following Luke Williams Memorial

Four days off on and off-ice activities dropped the curtain on Training Camp 2018 tonight for the Soo Greyhounds with the playing of the team's Annual Luke Williams Memorial Red & White game.
Following the game, General Manager Kyle Raftis, Head Coach John Dean and their accompanying staff reduced the team's active roster down to 26 players.
Presently remaining with the club are:
GOALIES (4) - Matthew Villalta, Tyler Johnson, Owen Parker, Ethan Taylor
DEFENCEMAN (8) - Anthony DeMeo, Mac Hollowell, Phil Caron, Holden Wale, Jordan Sambrook, Jacob LeGuerrier, Ryan O'Rourke, Robert Calisti
FORWARDS (14) - Roman Pucek, Cullen McLean, Dominic Mufarreh, Joe Carroll, Cole MacKay, Ryan Roth, Barrett Hayton, Brett Jacklin, Tye Kartye, Keeghan Howdeshell, Zack Trott, Rory Kerins, Alex Johnston, Morgan Frost
Nineteen players were subsequently released from the club, or re-assigned to various programs following the game. Those players are:

The 2018-19 Hounds will skate into their first exhibition contest on Thursday, September 13 - 7:05 PM at the Sudbury Wolves.
The two Northern Ontario rivals will complete their pre-season schedule three days later on Sunday, September 16 - 2:05 PM at the GFL Memorial Gardens.
