Xander Bogearts' walk-off home run in the 10th inning gave the Greenville Drive a 6-5 win over the Lexington Legends Monday night in Greenville. The Legends jumped in front 2-0 in the bottom of the second when Ben Orloff reached on an error and Jhonny Medrano followed with his fifth home run of the season.

The Drive answered with a run in the third on Brandon Jacobs' sacrifice fly. In the bottom of the fourth, consecutive singles by Drew Hedman, Bogaerts and Michael Almanzar loaded the bases with nobody out, and David Renfroe delivered a grand slam, a shot over the wall in left center field to put the Drive up 5-2.

The Legends came back with two runs in the fifth. A single by Ben Heath and a double by Bryce Lane put runners at second and third with one out. When a pitch to Hector Rodriguez got past catcher Christian Vazquez for a passed ball, Heath scored. Vazquez' throw to pitcher Miguel Celestino at home plate in an attempt to get Heath was high, and Lane also scored, cutting the lead to one at 5-4.

Lexington tied it in the sixth on a single by Mike Kvasnicka, a walk to Tyler Burnett and a two-out single by Medrano. The score remained 5-5 until Bogaerts' homer in the 10th.

The Legends return home to the meet the Augusta GreenJackets Wednesday. Game time at Whitaker Bank Ballpark is 7:05 p.m.
