(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) Nick Longhi drove in four runs and the Greenville Drive collected 14 hits on their way to a 5-4 win over the Lexington Legends Thursday night.

The Drivetook a 1-0 lead in the third inning when Cisco Tellez singled, moved to third on a base hit by Rafael Devers and scored on a passed ball.

Lexington claimed a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth on solo homers by Wander Franco and Michael Hill, but Longhi's two-run single in the top of the fifth put the Drive back in front 3-2.

The Legends, who had 13 hits in the game, evened the score in the bottom of the fifth when Humberto Arteaga singled, took second on an error by left fielder Mike Meyers and scored on a base hit by Ryan O'Hearn.

Joseph Monge led off the top of the sixth with a bunt single, and Meyers followed with a single to right field. Tellez bunted into a force play at third base, but Devers singled to load the bases, and Longhi followed with a base hit to center field, scoring Meyers and Tellez and giving the Drive a 5-3 lead.

The Legend scored their final run in the seventh on a single by Corey Toups, two ground outs and a single by Elier Hernandez.

Greenville starter Reed Reilly (3-2) worked the first five innings and got the win.

Scott Blewett, a second round pick of the Kansas City Royals in the 2014 draft, recorded eight strikeouts in the first four innings in his Legends debut. He allowed five hits and one run. Colin Rodgers (1-5), who relieved Blewett at the start of the fifth inning, worked through the eighth and took the loss.

Game two of the four-game series will be played Friday night. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
