Crawdads & Braves Suspended by Rain

Hickory, NC - The Hickory Crawdads game against the Rome Braves on Thursday, May 28th has been suspended in the top of the 1st inning due to rain. The game will resume on Friday, May 29th at 7:00 pm, while the 'Dads and Braves will play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 30th beginning at 4:30 pm. One ticket will get fans in to see both games.

The contest was called in the top of the 1st inning with no score, as the Braves batted with two on and two out. The game will resume at the same point, with Rome first baseman Matt Tellor batting with a 2-1 count. All nine innings of the game will be completed when play resumes.

Any rainout ticket will serve as a voucher redeemable for any 2015 Crawdads game, with the July 3rd Independence Day game and the August 15th Christian Concert game requiring an upgrade fee. Vouchers may be exchanged for tickets by visiting the Cloninger Ford of Hickory ticket office at the main gate.

The Crawdads are home for the rest of the weekend, with promotions including Fireworks Friday, the Bob Horner appearance on Saturday, and Little League Night on Sunday.
