LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts (22-17) scored four runs in the fourth inning, aiding a fine performance from Conner Greene, in a 7-3 win over the South Bend Cubs (18-21) on Tuesday afternoon at Cooley Law School Stadium.

Greene (Win, 3-2) struck out a season-best six and allowed one run over six innings, coming one out short of his longest start of the season.

Tim Mayza relieved Greene for the final three innings, earning his second career save and first in the Midwest League. Mayza gave up two runs to South Bend in the seventh. He settled down for a scoreless eighth and ninth.

On the offensive side, Lansing scored six runs in 6.2 IP against starter Erick Leal (Loss, 3-2).

Richard Urena had two RBIs and finished 2-for-4, his ninth multi-hit game, tied for second-most on the squad with Anthony Alford. Urena's two-run triple gave Lansing a 3-0 edge in the fourth inning.

Gunnar Heidt (2-for-4), D.J. Davis (1-for-5) and Justin Atkinson (1-for-4) also had RBIs.

Lansing's right-handed pitcher Sean Reid-Foley (0-1, 4.87) is next in line for the Lugnuts staff, opposing Zach Hedges (2-2, 3.48) on a second straight Grand Slam School Day, starting at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday morning. For more information, call (517) 485-4500 or visit lansinglugnuts.com.
