Amarillo Gorillas News Release

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Gorillas were one of the hottest stories in the Central Hockey League last season and they hope to continue that trend this year.

The Gorillas are pleased to announce they have signed a new radio agreement with Amigo Broadcasting's Hot 99.7 KBZD-FM as its flagship station to carry all of their 64 regular season, playoff and exhibition games.

The Voice of the Gorillas Denis J. Puska, a nominee for CHL's Broadcaster of the Year, will handle the play-by-play duties for a second straight year with the hockey club and third in Amarillo. This will mark Puska's 22nd year calling hockey games.

"We are extremely excited to be signing this partnership with Hot 99.7," said Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Denis J. Puska. "Our games will be on an FM Station which is something we have been looking at from a marketing aspect. They will also help us tap the Spanish speaking market with their sister stations such as La Mejor."

Hot 99.7 FM will carry the Gorillas games in their entirety, beginning with a 20-minute pre-game and concluding with a 20-minute post game show.

Once again the Gorillas games will also be available live on the Internet through their website at www.amarillogorillas.com .
