
Goaltender Jack Flinn Joins Reign

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), have agreed to terms with goaltender Jack Flinn. In a separate transaction, the Reign have released forward Matt Leitner from his professional tryout agreement.
Flinn, 20, recently completed a four-year junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). This season, the Halifax, Nova Scotia, native appeared in 64 games with the Mississauga Steelheads (OHL), earning a 32-27-3 record with a 3.07 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. In the postseason, Flinn helped the Steelheads to Game 7 of the opening round before falling to the Barre Colts on April 5.
The 6-foot-8, 233-pound goaltender skated with the Owen Sound Attack (OHL) from 2013-15 and the Sherbrooke Phoenix (QMJHL) for the 2012-13 season.
Leitner, 25, acquired four assists in 15 games with the Reign. The Los Alamitos, California, native holds 49 points (12 goals, 37 assists) in 51 games with the Manchester Monarchs (ECHL) this season.
