Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators hold the ECHL's best record as they extended their winning streak to an ECHL season best eigth games as they went 4-0-0-0 last week. With the four straight wins, Gwinnett improved their record to 11-3-1-0 with a league high 23 points.

Saturday, 11/17: Game vs. Greenville @7:05 p.m.
Game Preview: The Greenville Road Warriors return to the Arena at Gwinnett Center for the second meeting of the season. The Gladiators lost 3-2 in overtime in the first meeting of the season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on October 20th. The Road Warriors are currently ranked second in the South Division and won their last game against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Sunday, 11/18: Game @South Carolina @3:00 p.m.
Game Preview: The South Carolina Stingrays won their last game against the Toledo Walleye 2-1 at the Huntington Center in Toledo. During the last meeting with the Stingrays, Gwinnett posted a 3-2 win on November 4th. South Carolina is currently ranked fourth in the South Division and ninth in the Eastern Conference.

Wednesday, November 7: Gwinnett 2, Orlando 1 - W
"ªThe Gwinnett Gladiators 2-1 overtime win over the Orlando Solar Bears on Wednesday. Rookie Christian Ouellet scored the game-winning goal for the Gladiators with a helper from Tony Lucia 2:05 into the overtime period. For Ouellet, it was his third goal of the season. Evan Bloodoff scored the first goal of game 16:51 into the first to put Gwinnett on top with an assist from Ouellet. Matthew Sisca scored 4:24 into the second for the Solar Bears to tie the score.
Thursday, November 8: Gwinnett 4, Orlando 3 - W
The Gladiators won their sixth game in a row Thursday at the Amway Center against the Orlando Solar Bears. Evan Bloodoff scored the first goal of the game for the Gladiators 5:53 into the first. With the help from Tyler Murovich and Cody Brookwell, Bloodoff earned his sixth goal of the season. After Justin Weller scored the second goal for the Gladiators 6:28 into the first, Ryan Ginard put the Solar Bears on the board 6:54 into the first making the score 2-1. Casey Pierro-Zabotel scored the game-winning goal at 8:14 into the second picking up his second goal of the game and his sixth goal of the season making the score 4-2. Ginard scored for Orlando 17:48 into the third, but it wasn't enough in the 4-3 loss.
Saturday, November 10: Gwinnett 7, Florida 6 - W
The Florida Everblades fell to the Gwinnett Gladiators in their first meeting of the season, 7-6. Rylan Galiardi earned a natural hat trick with Gwinnett's last three goals of the game to put the Gladiators on top 7-5. The Gladiators came back from a 5-2 deficit in the second period to post the win. Tyler Murovich ended the game with one goal and two assists while Ryan Donald, Casey Pierro-Zabotel, and Dallas Jackson all had two assists during the game to help Gwinnett win the game.
Sunday, November 11: Gwinnett 2, Orlando 1 - W
The Gladiators claimed their fourth victory on the road this week knocking off the Orlando Solar Bears 2-1. Defensemen Dallas Jackson scored both goals for the Gwinnett Gladiators picking up his 3rd and 4th goals this season. Jackson scored the first goal 12:20 into the second with a helper from Pierro-Zabotel on the power play. Rob Mignardi of Orlando snapped Mike Lee's shutout bid as he got the Solar Bears on a the board 13:01 into the third.
News & Notes:
Hat Trick: Rylan Galiardi scored the first hat trick of the season for the Gladiators on November 10th against the Florida Everblades. The last time the Gladiators earned a hat trick on the road was when Pat Galivan notched three goals for Gwinnett in the in the 2010-2011 season against the Greenville Road Warriors on January 14th. Galiardi scored two of his three goals on the power play for Gwinnett.
Winning Streak: The Gladiators are on an eight game winning streak. Last season, the Gladiators had two seven game winning streaks from 1/26-2/11 and 3/2-3/14. The eight game winning streak is the longest streak for the Gladiators in the last five seasons.
Dallas Jackson: Defensemen Dallas Jackson scored two goals in the game Sunday against the Orlando Solar Bears. This is the first time Jackson has scored more than one goal in a game during his professional career. The Edson, AB native picked up his third and fourth markers of the season with the goals.
Point Streak: Casey Pierro-Zabotel and Dallas Jackson have each scored at least one point in each of the last three games. Jackson has scored two goals and four assists in the last three games and has earned nine points in15 games this year. Pierro-Zabotel earned five points in the past three games and has recorded 22 points in 15 games. Evan Bloodoff holds the Gladiators season best record by scoring in seven games straight and he earned eight points (four goals, four assists) from 10/28-11/10.
Power Play Goals: In last Saturday's game, the Gladiators scored on four out of five power plays against the Everblades. It was the first time Gwinnett has scored three or more power play goals in a game since 3/6/2010 against the Florida Everblades. Gwinnett has scored 13 power play goals on 71 chances in 12 games this season to rank 8th overall in the ECHL.
