ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension
November 12, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Monday that Utah's Mitch Wahl has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #123, Utah at Colorado, on Nov. 9.
Wahl is suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Wahl missed Utah's games at Colorado on Saturday and will miss games vs. Stockton (tonight) and at Stockton (Nov. 16).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
