
Gladiators To Hold Practice at The Ice and Skate Thursday

The Gwinnett Gladiators and The Ice in Cumming, GA announce that Thursday evening, November 15th, the team will be holding a team practice followed by a Skate with the Players for local youth hockey. The team practice, which is open to the public, will begin at 4:00 PM and fans of the game or simply those interested in learning more about hockey and the team are invited to watch.
Gladiators personnel will be on hand to answer any questions about the game or the team and to provide game schedule and information on ticket opportunities for your family, organization or business. The Ice personnel will be available to answer any questions about ice skating, youth and adult hockey or group outings at Cummings own ice facility.
Following the team practice (at approximately 5:30 PM), The Ice Youth Hockey players and other youth will have an opportunity to skate with the Gladiators players, get autographs and ask questions about life a professional hockey player. Bring your items for autograph and meet the team. At 6:00 PM, Gladiators Head Coach John Wroblewski, Assistant Coach Rick Emmett and Team President Steve Chapman will be available for a Meet and Greet as well as to answer any questions pertaining to the Gladiators or to coaching. The Gladiators are the ECHL (professional AA-Level) hockey affiliate of the NHL Phoenix Coyotes and the Buffalo Sabres. The team is currently in 1st place in the ECHL South Division and plays at the beautiful 11,000-seat Gwinnett Arena in Duluth, Georgia. The organization is known for the fun and high-energy atmosphere of their home games as well as their strong history of North Metro Atlanta community involvement. The organization is celebrating its 10th season of play.
The Ice is an ice skating and youth hockey facility located on Highway 9, one mile north of Exit 13 (Hwy 141) in Cumming, GA. The facility provides public skating sessions, youth and adult hockey leagues, learn-to-skate and learn-to-play instructional opportunities as well as birthday and group outing opportunities.
The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
