Gladiators Pre Season Schedule Set

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced their pre-season game schedule today. The pre-season schedule will feature a pair of games against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Pensacola Civic Center on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. Both games will begin at 7:05 p.m.

It is the second consecutive season that the Gladiators will travel to Pensacola for a pair of pre-season games. Gwinnett and Pensacola split last season's pair of exhibition games with Gwinnett winning the first game 4-3 on October 15th and the Ice Pilots winning the second game 4-1 on October 16th.

The Gladiators went 1-1-1 last season against the Ice Pilots during the regular season and were 1-1-0 at the Pensacola Civic Center. Gwinnett is 2-2-1 all time against Pensacola.

The Gladiators face the Ice Pilots five times this season, twice at the Pensacola Civic Center on November 20th and 22nd and three times at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on November 12th, January 29th and January 31st.

The Gwinnett Gladiators open the 2005-06 ECHL season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center hosting the Charlotte Checkers on October 21st. The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
