
Gulls modify preseason schedule

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced Tuesday a few minor modifications to their preseason schedule, which is still set to take place Oct. 14 through Oct. 16 at the San Diego Ice Arena in Mira Mesa.
Game times have been changed to the following: Friday, Oct. 14 vs. Phoenix Roadrunners (7:30 p.m. start - originally scheduled for 7 p.m.) Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. Phoenix Roadrunners (5 p.m. start - no change) Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. Bakersfield Condors (3:30 p.m. start - originally scheduled for 3 p.m.) (Note: Game times are still subject to change)
There has also been a special addition to the Saturday, Oct. 15 contest against Phoenix. Immediately following the game, fans are invited to take the ice for a special edition of "Skate After the Gulls." Skate rentals will be free.
Tickets to each game will be $5 and can be purchased through the San Diego Ice Arena. To purchase tickets, contact the SDIA at 858-530-1825.
Any Gulls season ticket holder can purchase tickets for the first two games (Oct. 14 and Oct. 15) and get admission to the third game free (Oct. 16). This MUST be purchased through the Gulls' office by Friday, Oct. 7. To take advantage of this special season ticket holder deal, contact Greg Olmen at 619-308-4385.
Seating for all three games will be on a first-come-first serve basis.

The Gulls open the regular season Friday, Oct. 21 in Alaska and open their home schedule Saturday, Nov. 5 against Stockton. Season ticket packages are currently on sale.
