ORLANDO, Fla. - The Gladiators (17-39-3-3) continue on with their three-game set at the Amway Center with another matchup with the Orlando Solar Bears (32-22-4-3) Saturday night in Orlando. In their last game on Thursday, the Gladiators picked up a point against the Solar Bears, ultimately falling in the shootout, 4-3. Dan O'Donoghue (1g, 1a) and C.J. Chartrain (2a) both had two points for Gwinnett, while Mike Lee had 45 big saves for the Gladiators.

Glads Notes:

Scorching the Competition: The Gladiators have played some of their best hockey against the two Florida ECHL teams, especially against Orlando. In their eight games against the Solar Bears, the Gladiators have picked up points in five games, winning four of those matchups. Gwinnett is 1-1-0-1 at the Amway Center this season.

Gladiators Ahoy: Four players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates - Dan O'Donoghue, Greg Carey, and Mike Lee - and eight more - Joel Hanley (POR), Louis Domingue (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR), James Melindy (POR), Dyson Stevenson (POR/BRI), Bretton Stamler (HFD), Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR), and Joe Stejskal (IAW) - have spent time in the AHL this year.

Milestones: Sean Berkstresser is one game from his 450th professional game ... Geoff Paukovich is one goal away from his 50th as a pro.
