
Kyle Jean Returns for Playoff Push

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced center Kyle Jean has been released from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO) with the Lake Erie Monsters (American Hockey League) and is expected to return to the Upstate in time for tonight's 7:00 p.m. contest against Indy.
A third-year pro, Jean ranks sixth on the Road Warriors in scoring this season with 34 points and is tied for fourth on the club with 21 assists. He has also notched 13 goals, 30 penalty minutes and a +5 rating in 46 ECHL games this season. Jean leads Greenville with six power-play goals and four shootout tallies.
The 25-year old played four games with Lake Erie during his latest call-up and recorded two penalty minutes. Overall, Jean has made 12 appearances in the AHL this season after spending eight games with the Charlotte Checkers in November. He registered two assists, four penalty minutes and an even rating with Charlotte.
Last season, the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan native appeared in 41 AHL games with Hartford and registered four points (2g, 2a) with 29 penalty minutes. He also played 24 regular-season contests with Greenville and an additional 15 playoff games. During the Road Warriors run to the Eastern Conference Finals, Jean earned 12 points (7g, 5a) including a triple overtime game-winning goal against Kalamazoo in Game 5 of the first round on April 26, 2014.
The 6'4, 203-pound forward began his professional career during the 2012-13 season with the AHL's Connecticut Whale, where he produced 23 points (9g, 14a) in 73 games.

Race Night: The Road Warriors continue a four-game homestand on SANDLAPPER Securities Rink at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena tonight with "Race Night."
