ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.

Greenville's Clark fined, suspended

Greenville's Emerson Clark has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #647, Cincinnati at Greenville, on March 20.

Clark is suspended under Rule #40.4 - Category III as a result of his actions at 5:12 of the third period.

Clark will miss Greenville's games vs. Indy (March 21), vs. Orlando (March 26) and at Gwinnett (March 28).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Wichita's Lizon fined

Wichita's Erick Lizon has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #974, Allen at Wichita, on March 20.

Lizon was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 8:07 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
