Gillies Invited to World Jr. Training Camp

Hockey Canada released the names of 37 individuals invited to the National Junior Selection Camp from December 10th to 14th in Calgary, AB and the list includes Blades forward Colton Gillies.

Gillies, who is currently 4th on the Blades in scoring with 10 goals and 7 assists, was also a part of this falls Canada Russia Super Series. He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 1st round (16th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft and is an original 1st round (2nd overall) WHL Bantam Draft choice of the Blades.

Canada will kick off this year's World Junior Hockey Championship on December 26th, 2007 against the Czech Republic, the host team of this year's championship.
