Rockets-7, Blazers-4 - Tyler Myers' powerplay goal in the final minute of the second period stood up as the winner as the Rockets held on for a 7-4 win over the Blazers on Friday night in Kelowna. The Rockets jumped out to a 3-0 lead five minutes in before the Blazers got goals from Alex Rodgers, Ivan Rohác, and Scott Wasden to tie the game 3-3 by the 3-minute mark of the second. The Rockets would retake the lead before Shayne Wiebe knotted the game 4-4...but Myers would put the Rockets ahead to stay late with :51 to play in the second. The Rockets added two more for insurance in the third. Final shots were 38-29 Rockets with Kris Westblom getting the win and Justin Leclerc taking the loss. The Blazers were 0-for-3 on the PP while Kelowna was 2-for-7.

Bruins-6, Blazers-2 - The Chilliwack Bruins scored a pair of first period period powerplay goal to rally from a 1-0 deficit en route to a 6-2 win over the Blazers on Saturday night at ISC. After Scott Wasden put the Blazers up 1-0 four minutes in, Mark Santorelli and Oscar Moller picked up powerplay goals 2 minutes apart to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead after one. In the second, Brayden Metz and Matt Meropoulis each scored their first of the season - again 2 minues apart - to give the Bruins a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes. Chilliwack added two more in the third with CJ Stretch closing out the scoring with a powerplay goal. Final shots were 39-33 Bruins with Mark Friesen getting the win and James Priestner taking the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-6 on the PP and 10-for-13 on the PK.
