Kamloops Blazers News Release
KAMLOOPS, BC - The Kamloops Blazers are excited to announce that forwards Ivan Rohac and Juuso Puustinen will tryout for their countries for the upcoming IIHF World Junior Hockey Champonships in the Czech Republic from December 26th to January 5th.
Rohac has been chosen to tryout for Slovakia while Puustinen - a late cut from the national team last season - will tryout for Finland.
"We're really happy that Ivan and Juuso have been picked to tryout for their countries at the World Juniors," says Blazer Assistant Coach Shane Zulyniak. "We expect they'll bring the same passion and commitment to their national teams as they do to the Blazers."
Both players will leave for Europe on December 10th and could miss as many as 10 of the Blazers' regular season games should they make their national teams.
