VS WINNIPEG: Tonight will be the third of six meetings between the ICE and Tigers. Winnipeg has taken the first two games by scores of 4-2 in Medicine Hat (Nov 20, 21), and by a 7-2 margin (Nov 27, 21) in Winnipeg. The ICE are coming off an unexpected night off as their game in Swift Current was postponed due to COVID-19. Their last game was a 4-2 win over the Regina Pats in Regina by a score of 4-2. The ICE are currently 1st in the Eastern Conference and the Western Hockey League with a record of 26-5-2-0.

LAST GAME: The Tigers got back to their winning ways in their first home game of the unofficial 2nd half of the season. Tyler MacKenzie scored his first two goals of the season, in his first multi-goal game in his Western Hockey League career. The 2nd goal of MacKenzie's came on a short handed break away and proved to be the game winner. Noah Danielson sniped home his 8th of the campaign and Tigers netminder Garin Bjorklund made 41 saves as the Tigers took down the Calgary Hitmen by score of 3-2.
MILESTONES: Corson Hopwo is closing in on his 100th career WHL point. The forward from Duncan, BC needs only five points to cross that threshold. Tigers Defenceman Dru Krebs played in his 100th career WHL game on Saturday, December 4th vs Brandon. Daniel Baker is now seven games shy of playing in his team leading 200th career WHL game. Newcomer Brendan Lee recently played in his 100th career WHL game before being dealt to the Tigers.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Brendan Lee was recently acquired by the Medicine Hat Tigers in a 3-way trade with the Saskatoon Blades and Prince George Cougars. Lee was all over the ice in his first game in the orange and black, generating offensive opportunities. The Seattle, WAS native is a dynamic, offensive minded forward that posses pose size and speed. The 19-year-old recently played in his 100th career WHL game and has 30 career points, including 16 goals and 14 assists.
