Adirondack Thunder News Release

GAME NOTES

Keeping It Rolling: The Adirondack Thunder are rolling with three consecutive wins to start the season. The last time an Adirondack professional team started off the season started off 3-0 was the 2000-01 Adirondack Ice Hawks.

Cops and Robbers: Rob Bordson has taken the ECHL by storm with seven points over three games, including multiple points in all three games. Bordson opened the scoring last night with a beautiful goal from the slot and added an assist in the second period. Bordson's seven points are tied for seventh in the ECHL

Skip To My Lou: Winger Louick Marcotte is currently tied for second in the ECHL in scoring amongst first year players with five points (3-2-5). Marcotte, who has scored in all three games thus far, collected the second goal in last evening's win over Manchester.

The Simpsons: With the goaltending shuffle in Calgary, the trickle down effect has made its way to Adironadck as goaltender Kent Simpson was assigned to the Thunder last evening. Simpson adds to Adirondack's goaltending depth with Ken Appleby and gives the team an experienced netminder with NHL experience.
