Alaska Aces News Release
Aces at Utah Friday, March 3, 2017
5:10pm AST Maverik Ctr, W. Valley City, UT
Radio: 103.7 FM and 750 AM KFQD
Watch: ECHL-TV with Kurt Haider
The Aces looked good for about a period and a half Wednesday...looked really good. After surrendering the opening goal to Utah's high-scoring rookie Ralph Cuddemi, Danny Moynihan, Tim Wallace and Brad Navin all found the back of the net for the Glacier Blue. However, the euphoria didn't last as the Grizzlies battled back to not only tie the score on goals by Zac Larraza and ex-Ace Eric Higby, but forge a game-winner from Mathieu Aubin and an empty-netter from Michael Pelech to defeat Alaska 5-3. The Aces road streak of three straight games with at least a point came to an end.
Today, Alaska looks to get back to their winning ways with a rematch at the Maverik Center.
The Aces remain in fourth place in the Mountain Division, the final playoff position.
