Game Two: Hagerstown at Augusta Postponed Due to Rain

Augusta, GA- Tonight's scheduled game between the visiting Hagerstown Suns and the Augusta Greenjackets was postponed due to a violent thunderstorm. Winds were so heavy that a section of the outfield wall in center field at Lake Olmstead Stadium was knocked down.

Heavy rainfall covered the diamond at Lake Olmstead and Greenjackets officials announced a few minutes after 6:00pm that game two of the four game road series would be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, July 14th. A pair of seven-inning contests will begin at 6:05pm.

Wall-to-wall radio broadcast coverage will begin with a 5:50pm Break Away 2 Sports Lounge Pre-game Show on WJEJ AM 1240. The pitching matchup will feature RHP A.J. Cole facing LHP Mike Kickham.

The Hagerstown Suns play at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown, MD and are a Class "A" affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
