Crawdads launch Social Media Month fundraiser!

HICKORY, NC - The Hickory Crawdads, 1st-Half Northern Division Champions, have announced the details of the brand-new Social Media Month fundraiser campaign, launching immediately and lasting through Social Media Night on Wed., Aug. 10 against the Kannapolis Intimidators at 7 p.m.
All fans that "Like" the Hickory Crawdads Baseball Fan Page on Facebook will not only receive a FREE grandstand ticket to the Social Media Night game on Aug. 10, but will also help raise funds for Levine Children's Hospital. The Crawdads will donate 10 cents for every new "Like" that the Fan Page receives between now and Social Media Night to the cancer programs at Levine Children's Hospital.
Also, if the total amount of "Likes" doubles to 6,200 by 5 p.m. on Aug. 10, all fans will receive a FREE small Pepsi at the 7 p.m. game that night! So be sure to click here and "Like" us right away!
"Social Media Month combines two efforts that we always try to focus on -- finding creative ways to get the best value for our fans and supporting an integral community partner like Levine Children's Hospital," said Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations Andrew Buchbinder. "We're hopeful that our social media network will embrace this campaign and share it on their own profiles. After all, the more 'Likes' we receive, the more folks we will get a free ticket to and the more money we will donate for a great cause."
To claim your FREE ticket for the Social Media Night game on Aug. 10, just bring a printed screen shot that shows that you "Like" Hickory Crawdads Baseball on Facebook to the Ticket Office at L.P. Frans Stadium.

The Crawdads continue their road trip on Wednesday vs. the Power at 7:05 p.m. Catch all of the action live on The Big Dawg 92.1FM and Hickorycrawdads.com, and tune in 15 minutes early for Crawdads Countdown.
The Crawdads will return home on Wed., July 20 to kick off a seven-game homestand with Redneck Night against the Greensboro Grasshoppers. First Pitch is at 7 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m.
It will also be Guaranteed WINsday, with all fans in attendance receiving a FREE ticket to a future game this season if the 'Dads don't win. Also, July 20 will be another Conrad's Self-Esteem Wednesday. Say the words "Conrad's Self-Esteem" at the Ticket Office and get a Half Off Ticket to the game, with $2 going to Catawba Valley Behavioral Healthcare. Also, Wednesday is Unemployment Night - show your NCESC-issued debit card or online statement for four free tickets to the game.
