THE MATCHUP

The South Carolina Stingrays visit the Florida Everblades for a third straight time this week. The Stingrays have won both contests this week versus Florida, gaining a 6-1 win on Wednesday night and a 5-3 victory last night. The Stingrays enter tonight's game with five-straight victories, and the club has won six straight road games. South Carolina and Florida are currently tied for even at the top of the South Division as both clubs have 70 points.

LAST NIGHT'S GAME

South Carolina earned a 5-3 victory over the Everblades last night. The Stingrays got three goals from defenseman, including two from Wade Epp. Defenseman Nick D'Agostino scored the game-winning goal, and forwards David Pacan and Stephan Vigier also scored to earn the Stingrays their fifth win over the Everblades this season.

PACAN IN THE TOP 10

South Carolina forward David Pacan scored his 18th goal of the season last night, moving his point total to 50 on the season. Pacan currently ranks ninth in the ECHL in overall scoring. His career best is 52 points, which he scored during the 2012-13 season with the Cincinnati Cyclones.

LUCKY SEVEN FOR VIGIER

Forward Stephan Vigier scored his 19th goal of the season during last night's 5-3 win. With the goal, Vigier extended his point streak to seven games. He has scored a goal in five straight contests. Vigier currently ranks third on the team in points with 41, and is tied for the team lead in goals.

LEADING AFTER 2...WE'LL BEAT YOU

The Stingrays are nearly unbeatable this season when leading after two periods. The club is 27-1-0-0 this season when they have the advantage after 40 minutes.

POWER PLAY ACES

Forwards Stephan Vigier and Joe Devin are tied for the team lead with six power play goals each. South Carolina's power play is currently ranked fourth in the league at 19.4% on the season.

While the Stingrays are on the road, the club's next home game is the 10th Annual Pink in the Rink presented by Trident Heath on Saturday, March 5 at 7:05 p.m. The evening benefits Share our Suzy, a Charleston-based non-profit organization which allows patients to focus on recovery and not financial stress.
