TONIGHT:
The Orlando Solar Bears begin a four-game stretch of games against non-division opponents with a game against the Wheeling Nailers of the North Division.
MASSA EXPECTED IN GOAL TONIGHT:
Ryan Massa will look to maintain his perfect record against the Nailers tonight, as the goaltender was in between the pipes for both of Orlando's wins against Wheeling last season, recording a 2.50 goals-against average through the pair of games while making 53 total saves.
FAMILIAR FACE:
Denver Manderson gets a crack against his former team tonight, as the Solar Bears alternate captain suited up for the Nailers for his first three seasons in the ECHL from 2011-14. Manderson had since gone on to record his finest season with Orlando in 2014-15, and is currently enjoying a bounce-back campaign, as he leads the team with 26 points (9g-17a) and is tied for 10th in league scoring.
SHOT ABUNDANCE
The Solar Bears are the only team in the Eastern Conference - and only second in the league - to have at least three skaters in the top 20 in total shots on goal. Eric Faille is fourth in the league with 94, while Tony Cameranesi is 12th with 75, and Denver Manderson is 16th with 73.
