Hill Returns; Rush Sign Wallin

RAPID CITY, SD- The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Arizona Coyotes, announced today that rookie goaltender Adin Hill has been re-assigned to the Rush organization. He is currently in transit and will not be available until the weekend's games against the Idaho Steelheads. Additionally, the Rush have signed second-year forward Terrence Wallin. He will wear #12 for the Rush.
Hill comes back to the Rush after a successful 12-game stint with the Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL. The 6'4", 200-pound net-minder registered a 8-2-3 record with a 2.97 GAA, a .910 SV%, and didn't suffer a regulation loss in the first nine games he started, going 7-0-2 in that span. Hill made only one appearance for the Rush, which was on opening night on October 14th against the Colorado Eagles, where he stopped 29 of 32 shots. Prior to jumping to the professional ranks, the Calgary, Alberta native played in 115 games with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks over three seasons, posting a 67-38-10 record. He was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Draft (3rd Rd-#76).
Wallin comes to the Rush after a successful start to the season with the SPHL's Peoria Rivermen. After playing 2 games with the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder, the 6'0", 190-pound forward recorded 9 points in 10 games to the tune of 2 goals and 7 assists. Last season, he split his rookie season with both teams, playing the first 33 games of the season with Peoria (12g-11ast-23pts) before being called up to the Thunder, where he added an additional 11 points in 25 games (4g-7ast), and played in 9 games in the 2016 Kelly Cup Playoffs, adding an additional assist. Prior to turning pro, the native of Avon, Connecticut played four years in the NCAA with UMass-Lowell where he helped the River Hawks claim the 2013 Hockey East Regular-Season Championship, 2013 and 2014 Hockey East Tournament Championships, and reached the NCAA Tournament in 2012, 2013 and 2014 with an appearance in the 2013 Frozen Four.
