ROSTER UPDATE:

F Dan Kissel was signed today. He returns to the club after making his pro debut with the Condors last weekend in Las Vegas. Kissel had to return to the University of Notre Dame last week, but re-signed this afternoon... On Friday, D Jordan Collins was signed and D Ray Eichenlaub was placed on 3-IR... LW Cam Watson was signed Thursday to an Amateur Try-Out (ATO), while D Chris Allen was transferred to the 21-IR and D Luis Tremblay was released... D Mark Mitera (Abbotsford) and D Sasha Pokulok (San Antonio) were both reassigned from the American Hockey League on Tuesday... RW Jason Dale was placed on 21-IR on Mar. 12... F Mark Voakes and D Scott Marchesi were acquired by Bakersfield in exchange for F Mathieu Aubin on Mar. 11... D Chris Brooks (7-IR) remains on injured reserve, though he is eligible to be activated.

THE MATCHUP:

The Condors and Salmon Kings wrap up their 11-game season series tonight, with both clubs holding a 5-4-1 record (both teams have four regulation wins and an OT/SO win). Victoria picked up a 5-1 victory on Friday night, snapping a 1-1 tie in the first period with four unanswered tallies. F Andrew Ianiero picked up the only goal for Bakersfield, scoring his 100th career Condors goal. F Stephane Goulet is the Condors offensive leader against the Salmon Kings, with 5g-5a in 10 games. Seven of Salmon Kings RW Wes Goldie's league-leading 41 goals have come against the Condors.

Tonight is the conclusion of the 6th annual Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon, sponsored by 29 Eyewitness News, KUZZ 107.9 and the Bakersfield Californian.

Doors open at 4:45 p.m. so fans may enjoy the Condors Alumni/Celebrity Game, starting at 5 p.m. Former Condors Paul Willett, Paul Rosebush, Jason Reesor, Scott Hay, Jamie Cooke, Glen Mears, Brian McCarthy, Mike Hofstrand and Scott Borders are expected to participate. Also playing are Bakersfield Californian writer Mike Griffith, ABC23 anchor Chris Van Horne, City Manager Alan Tandy and more.
