The Erie SeaWolves return to UPMC Park for the second game of the series against the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox)...The SeaWolves snatched the first game 5-3 for their first home win of the month of August...Jake Rogers and Josh Lester both homered to get their 13th bomb of the season....Lester and Rogers are tied for the team lead in homers...Lester now has 52 RBI which also leads the SeaWolves....Danny Woodrow's 22nd multi-hit game of the season brought his average up to .324 which is on pace for the league batting title....Spencer Turnbull only allowed two earned runs and struck out six through 5.2 IP in a no-decision in the series opener...Kurt Spomer improved to 3-0 on the season after hurling a scoreless inning....John Schreiber earned his first save since July 23rd and now has 15 on the seaso, which is second in the EL...The SeaWolves still sit 8.5 games out of second place behind Altoona for a playoff spot, who they will play in a four game series starting Friday....Despite winning 5-3, the SeaWolves still have the worst record in two-run games in the Eastern League at 7-13....Beau Burrows will try to avenge the loss he had in his most recent start against Portland at Hadlock Field, allowing two runs on four hits through 3.2 against the Sea Dogs...Hart threw 7.0 IP scoreless with five strikeouts and only two hits in a win over Erie.
