Seabold earns first AA win

Reading Fightin Phils News Release
(Akron, OH) - Connor Seabold (1-2) earned his first double-A win on Wednesday night by allowing just one run in seven innings against the Akron RubberDucks (66-49). The Reading Fightin Phils (54-60) won 6-1 and clinched the season-series against the RubberDucks.
Darick Hall hit a two-run home run off James Karinchak (0-1) in the top of the fourth inning to give the Fightins a 2-1 lead. Damek Tomscha scored on the home run as he singled to get on base in the prior at-bat. The home run was Hall's twelfth of the season and came after Josh Tomlin pitched three scoreless innings for Akron in his major league rehab start.
Akron got a run off Seabold in the bottom of the seventh inning as Connor Marabell hit a RBI double Seabold to score Nellie Rodriguez and make it a 2-1 game.
Reading scored four runs off Dominic DeMasi in the top of the ninth inning to extend their lead to 6-1. Jose Pujols scored on a fielder's choice while Jan Hernandez and Malquin Canelo both scored on a fielding error by Andrew Calica. Cornelius Randolph hit a RBI single to score Adam Haseley for the final run of the inning.
Josh Tols pitched a scoreless bottom of the eighth inning while Edgar Garcia struck out the side to finish the game in the bottom of the ninth inning.
