Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves return to NYSEG Stadium to square off against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (New York Mets)....The SeaWolves started off the series with a 7-5 loss to the Rumble Ponies....The SeaWolves pitchers combined for a total of eight walks in the series opener...Beau Burrows worked in his shortest outing of the season against the Rumble Ponies, allowing five runs in 3.1 IP on five hits and three walks...Sergio Alcantara and Daz Cameron both tripled in the loss...Erie was 4-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left five runners on base...Cam Gibson logged his second multi-hit game of the season for Erie....Cameron has earned 17 RBIs in 16 games and a .369 AVG in his first 16 games for Erie....The SeaWolves are now 3-10 against the Rumble Ponies and 2-5 at NYSEG Stadium....This is the final series between the SeaWolves and the Rumble Ponies in 2018....Alex Faedo will make his third start for the SeaWolves tonight....In his most recent start, Faedo pitched five scoreless innings and only gave up two hits and two walks in a no-decision against the Bowie Baysox.....Joe Cavallaro will make his first start at the AA level for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies tonight....Cavallaro went 8-2 with a 2.09 ERA in 13 appearances with the Class-A Columbia Fireflies this season....This will be his first start against a Tigers affiliate.
