After locking up the second seed in the Western Conference, Sounders FC (11-5-6, 39 points) begins its 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs journey at home against LAFC (9-8-5, 32 points) at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / ESPN, ESPN Deportes, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
Jordan Morris was recently named as one of three Sounders included in the MLS Best XI. (LAFC)
Earlier this season, MLS announced it will use a points-per-game (PPG) system to determine conference standings. Seattle finished in second place in the Western Conference with 1.77 PPG. LAFC locked up the seventh seed with 1.45 PPG.
This is the fifth meeting of the season between these two clubs, with both teams playing to an even record of 2-2-0.
