TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

The Oilers look for a sweep against the Rush tonight as they return to Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena. Tulsa ended 2015 with fireworks--a victory over the Rapid City Rush, 2-1, on Thursday night. With goals from Adam Pleskach and Brady Ramsay, Tulsa is now 1-1-0-0 on the Rush this season.

PENALTY MURDERERS

In their last six contests, the Oilers have gone a total of 23/26 on the penalty kill. In their last four games, Tulsa has been a perfect 18/18. The Oilers rank 10th overall for the penalty kill in the ECHL.

NINJA GOALIE

Goaltender Kevin Carr has started in each of the Oilers' last 15 games and ranks fourth in the ECHL. With 1,201 minutes played this season, Carr is 12-7-1-0 with a 1.85 goals against average. Carr ranks second in the league for both minutes played and shootout wins- fourth in the ECHL with wins.

ROLLING MEADOWS NATIVE ON ROLL

Rookie forward Dan DeSalvo joins the Oilers this season in his first professional campaign after time with Bowling Green State University (14 goals as a freshman) the last four years. DeSalvo has points in five of his last six games played. The Illinois product has played in 25 games with the Oilers and has registered 19 points (6 goals, 13 assists)- ranking 12th among rookies in the ECHL.

MOOSE WATCH

Yesterday, Tulsa Oilers defenseman, Aaron Harstad, was recalled to the Manitoba Moose-Oilers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. Harstad, signed to an American Hockey League contact with the Moose, produced six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in eight games with the Oilers. The Oilers' first transaction of 2016, Harstad returns to the Moose having played in seven games the northern squad and racking up 12 penalty minutes.

EXTRA DROPS

The Oilers defense is firm as they rank fourth in the ECHL for shots against at 26.74... Phil Brewer leads rookies in shootout goals going 2/2...Tulsa is on a five-game road winning streaking...
