September 30, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
The Medicine Hat Tigers will look to push their record to 4-0 to begin the WHL season Saturday as they welcome the Saskatoon Blades to Co-op Place.
Medicine Hat is coming off a 4-2 victory in Red Deer Friday night, thanks to a two goal effort from Cayden Lindstrom & a three assist night from Gavin McKenna along with a 37 save win in between the pipes for Evan May.
The Tigers opponent has only played two games to start the season as the Blades are 1-1. They will be well rested not playing Friday. In the 2023-2024 season the Blades finished 3rd in the Conference as part of a 48 win campaign that saw them reach the Eastern Conference Final. The season series saw Saskatoon win all three games, with the Tigers picking up a single point in an overtime loss in 2022.
Game Time is set for 7 PM, you can get your tickets as tixx.ca or the Tigers Box Office.
