Head-To-Head - The Allen Americans and Colorado Eagles are meeting for the final time this season. Allen has lost three of the last four games in the season series. The Americans are 1-1-0 at Budweiser Events Center this year.
One Versus Two - Tonight's matchup features the top two scorers in the ECHL. Chad Costello leads the league with 76 points, 21 goals and 55 assist, while Trent Daavettila is second overall with 61 points, 19 goals and 42 assist.
Riley all the way - With Joel Rumpel recalled by the San Jose Barracuda, Riley Gill is expected to get both starts this weekend. The Americans have signed Nolan Bowker to an Emergency Goalie deal. Bowker a former junior league goalie in Canada serves as the teams Equipment Manager as well.
Pinkston Returns - Americans defenseman Rick Pinkston was reassigned to Allen by the San Jose Barracuda on Friday. Pinkston played in five games for San Jose and had no points with five penalty minutes.
Federico Likes Budweiser -Â Americans Rookie Defenseman Danny Federico is looking forward to tonight's game at Budweiser Events Center. It was in that building he scored his only goal this season back on October 21st in the Americans 3-1 win over Colorado.
Colorado Eagle Notes - Colorado has one of the best home records in the ECHL at 20-7-2-0. The Eagles are coming off a 3-1 win over Fort Wayne on Wednesday night. Colorado has won their last five games in a row at home, and hasn't lost at on home-ice since February 10th.
