
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Brampton's Howes fined, suspended
Brampton's Scott Howes has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #780, Elmira at Brampton, on March 4.
Howes is fined and suspended as a result of his game misconduct under Rule #70.3 at 17:15 of the third period.
Howes will miss Brampton's games vs. Elmira (March 6), at Wheeling (March 8) and vs. Orlando (March 10, March 11 and March 13).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Fort Wayne's Sol fined, suspended
Fort Wayne's Cody Sol has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #775, Fort Wayne at Rapid City, on March 4.
Sol is suspended for one game as the result of his game misconduct under Rule #46.12 for instigating in the final five minutes of regulation and one game under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Sol will miss Fort Wayne's games at Rapid City (March 5) and at Colorado (March 6).
