Back to Work
It's the Winterhawks' first home game in two weeks, and home cooking has been good to the team as of late. Portland enters tonight's tilt with wins in four straight and points in six straight on home ice, including a pair of wins over Everett. The Hawks capped off a lengthy 11-game homestand with an impressive 7-1-3-0 mark in that span, and now look to build on that positive momentum as the Ams come to town for the first time since Oct. 16.
Wardrobe Change
If you're coming to the game tonight, things may look a bit different on the ice. Teams around the WHL are swapping their home colors for the second half of the year, which means Portland's white threads get center stage at the VMC.

Internet Famous
Cross Hanas and James Stefan brought some Trevor Zegras flair to the WHL during the Hawks' last game, pulling off a remarkable combination play to send Portland into the holiday break with some flourish.
The play earned #1 honors on SportsCenter's Top 10 and garnered plenty of attention from throughout the hockey community on social media. Cross Hanas is no stranger to the incredible, having pulled off two "Michigan" goals during his time with the Winterhawks already, but it's clear that the entire roster boasts a creative spirit just waiting to create the next "where were you?" moment.
CHL Game of the Week
If you can't make tonight's game in person, you can catch the contest for FREE on CHL TV! Tonight's matchup is the CHL's Kubota Game of the Week on CHL TV. Once per week, the CHL selects a game in one of the three leagues to feature for free on its streaming platform.

Wheelin' and Dealin'
The Winterhawks wasted no time jumping back into the thick of things on Monday, acquiring veteran goaltender Taylor Gauthier from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for 20-year-old defenseman Jonas Brøndberg, a third-round selection in next year's Prospects Draft and two conditional fifth-round picks.
As Portland readies for additional talent between the pipes, Dante Giannuzzi continues to carry the load in fine form, having won five of his last six starts for the team.
