HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the 10th meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mavericks. All-time, Wichita is 35-30-4 against Missouri and 20-15-1 at home in the series.
GOALIE MATCH-UP - Missouri's Josh Robinson has started in five games against the Thunder, going 5-0-0-0, with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage. Grant Rollheiser has appeared in four games against the Mavericks, going 0-2-0-0 with a goals-against average of 3.24 and .903 save percentage. He left the game early on New Year's Eve with an apparent lower body injury. Rollheiser returned to action this past Saturday night against Tulsa.
SERIES LEADERS - Mason Baptista leads the Thunder with four points (3g, 1a) against Missouri in the season-series. Andrew Courtney (5g, 5a) and Rocco Carzo (1g, 8a) both have scored nine points against the Thunder so far this year.
WORKING OVERTIME - Wichita has played seven of its last 11 games past regulation. The Thunder are 3-4 in shootout situations and 1-1 with games being decided in the overtime period. Wichita is 7-6-1-4 in one-goal games this season.

RETURNING TO FORM - David Shantz has been solid in the month of January. Over his last three starts, the Hamilton, Ontario native is 2-0-0-1 with a goals-against average of 1.26 and save percentage of .949. He has stopped 74 of 78 shots and only allowed four goals in his last three games.

MISSOURI NOTES - Josh Robinson has allowed two goals or less in 15 of his 19 appearances...Missouri is the league's least penalized team in the ECHL (9.70/game)...Missouri added Quinn Smith and Mike Donnellan to their roster prior to tonight's game...Colin Markison, Carter Verhaeghe and Patrick Cullity were recalled to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League (AHL)...

UP NEXT - Wichita heads to Utah for the first time ever on Friday night starting at 8:05 p.m. CST. The Thunder and Grizzlies will play a three-game set with game two on Saturday night and game three on Monday afternoon.
