HOUSTON - Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has assigned guard/forward K.J. McDaniels and forward/center Donatas Motiejunas to Houston's single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley.
McDaniels (6-6, 205) has appeared in 15 games for the Rockets and 12 games for the Vipers this season. This is his sixth assignment to Rio Grande Valley.
Motiejunas (7-0, 222) has appeared in 14 games with one start for the Rockets this season. This is his first assignment to the Vipers in 2015-16.
