The Fuel wrap up the season series with the Evansville IceMen this Friday and Saturday night with a home-and-home weekend. Friday night is Mascot Mania night at Indiana Farmers Coliseum!
TEAM NOTES
- The Fuel made a coaching change Monday, relieving Scott Hillman and naming Bernie John interim head coach.
- Kevin Clare and Mike Seidel made their Fuel debuts on Friday night after being acquired from the Elmira Jackals earlier in the week.
- Friday night's game was the first-ever meeting of the Grizzlies and Fuel.
- Nick Petrecki was returned from the Chicago Wolves of the AHL on Monday.
- Mac Carruth returned from the Rockford IceHogs on in time for the weekend series after five appearances with the club.
MASCOT MANIA
Join Nitro and his pals for a night of shenanigans on "Mascot Mania Night!" Tommy Hawk, Freddy Fever, Rowdie, Zeke, Hammy will be on hand for photos, autographs and endless entertainment! The first 1,000 ticket holders will receive a limited-edition Nitro puzzle!
FREE APP FRIDAY
When the Fuel win, you win - thanks to South of Chicago Pizza and Beef! If Indy wins this Friday night, all fans in attendance will win a free appetizer at any of the three South of Chicago Pizza and Beef locations! The deal is valid for seven days after the Fuel victory and fans must present their ticket stub.
FAMILY FUN DAY
Join the Fuel and Community Health Network for a fun day the whole family can enjoy, complete with a post-game autograph session with the team and open skate on the historic Indiana Farmers Coliseum ice! Bring your own skates, or take advantage of free skate rental on a first-come, first-served basis. Grab a few photos and autographs from your favorite players as you hit the ice where the Fuel play!
ECHL FANTASY TEAM, PRESENTED BY THE MEIGRAY GROUP
Indy Fuel captain Zach Miskovic wore a special jersey in Tuesday night's game against Missouri as part of the ECHL Fantasy Team, presented by The MeiGray Group. This game-worn jersey and the game-issued jersey for Fuel goaltender Mac Carruth will be auctioned off online at echl.com and MeiGray.com starting March 3rd, with bidding ending March 24.
INDY FUEL LIVE
The next installment of Indy Fuel Live will be on Tuesday, March 8. Broadcast live from Sinking Ship 2 at 4825 East 96th Street 6-7 pm, Indy Fuel Live will feature Fuel head coach Bernie John and Fuel players each week. The show will air on Indy Fuel flagship station CBS Sports 1430 AM and streamed via www.cbssports1430.com or the TuneIn Radio app for your smartphone and tablet.
Those attending the show live will have a chance to help BattleLymes disease by making a $10 donation to the Green Army and the BattleLymes Foundation. Each person making a donation receives a t-shirt and is entered into a drawing to win four (4) tickets to an upcoming Fuel home game.
