Fuel Make Roster Moves

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and AHL's Rockford IceHogs announced a series of roster moves over the weekend. The club acquired the contract of forward Pat D'Amico and future considerations from the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday for the playing rights to defenseman Ben Marshall. Additionally, the club released five players from their tryout agreement on Sunday: forwards Nick D'Avolio, Jeff Jones and Alec Hagaman as well as defensemen Bo Driscoll and Rich Ledy.

D'Amico, 21, is entering his second professional season, after scoring 24 points (15g, 9a) in 67 total games split between the Gladiators and Colorado Eagles. The 6-foot, 201-pound forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba played three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Regina Pats, recording 75 points (27g, 48a) in 160 total games.

Marshall, 24, signed a two-way contract with the AHL's Providence Bruins on Oct. 8. The rearguard from Mahtomedi, Minn. tallied 12 goals and 24 assists last season with the Fuel, earning a spot on the ECHL's 2015-16 All-Rookie Team.
