Adirondack Frostbite News Release
LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 2-1-0 last week, picking up home wins over Roanoke and Danbury, and falling at Danbury on Sunday. The Frostbite are 27-13-3 for 57 points and are in second place of the Eastern Division, seven points behind the Trashers with five games in hand.
Friday, February 3 vs. Roanoke FROSTBITE 6 Vipers 4 After a wild first period which saw the two teams score three times a piece, Roanoke took a 4-3 lead 5:47 into the second period on a David Beauregard goal. Adirondack tied the game late in the period on Scott Drevitch's second goal of the night. Drevitch completed the hat trick, and put the Frostbite ahead for good, with his ninth of the season 8:20 into the final period. Mike Berry provided some insurance with his 17th at 17:55 to set the final.
Saturday, February 4 vs. Danbury FROSTBITE 3 Trashers 2 The Frostbite picked up their third straight win over the Trashers with an exciting 3-2 victory in front of a season-high crowd of 4,070 fans. Hugo Belanger opened the scoring with a power-play goal 2:29 into the contest. Mike Berry doubled the Frostbite advantage at 1:21 of the second period. Danbury got on the board 6:25 into the third with a 5-on-3 power-play goal from Jean-Michel Daoust. Berry restored the Frostbite's two goal advantage two-and-a-half minutes later, and that turned out to be a big goal after Ryan Barnes netted a shorthanded goal with 2:31 left in the third period. Kris Tebbs was able to hold off a furious Trasher rally in the closing seconds to preserve the win. Tebbs made 32 saves on the night in his first appearance since January 7, and recorded his first win since December 3.
Sunday, February 5 @ Danbury Trashers 7 FROSTBITE 2 Adirondack's seven-game unbeaten streak and six-game winning streaks came to an abrupt halt on Sunday at the Danbury Ice Arena. The Frostbite had a 2-0 lead on goals by Sylvain Cloutier late in the first period and Ryan Bennett early in the second. But, the Trashers went on to score five goals in the second, and added two more in the third to pick up the win.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES Friday, February 10 @ Danbury 7:30 p.m. The Frostbite and Trashers meet for the 11th of 16 times this season. Adirondack is 3-6-1 against the Trashers this season, and is 1-4-0 at the Danbury Ice Arena.
Saturday, February 11 @ Elmira 7:00 p.m. Adirondack and Elmira meet for the seventh time this season, with the Frostbite holding a 4-1-1 record against the Jackals. Elmira is in fourth place of the Eastern Division with a record of 17-23-5 for 39 points.
Sunday, February 12 vs. Richmond 5:15 p.m. The Frostbite take on the RiverDogs for the ninth time this season, and for the first time since December 1. Adirondack is a perfect 8-0-0 against Richmond this season, and is 4-0-0 at home against the RiverDogs. Richmond has been on a roll of late, going 9-1-1 over its last 11 games to close to within one point of the final playoff spot in the UHL. Overall this season, the RiverDogs are 21-21-4 for 46 points and are in third place of the Eastern Division.

- The Frostbite have posted 30 or more shots on goal in seven of their last nine games, and are averaging 33.3 shots per game over that span.
- Ryan Bennett tallied five points (g, 4a) in Adirondack's three games last week. - Greg Koehler has notched at least one point in each of the last four games (2g, 4a). - The Frostbite are 13-3-3 in one-goal games.

FROSTBITE FANTASY PUCK DROP CONTEST If you've ever wanted to drop the ceremonial first puck on the ice prior to a Frostbite home game, you now have your chance. The Frostbite are giving fans the opportunity to drop the puck prior to the Friday, March 10 game against the Rockford IceHogs. Any fan who purchases a souvenir puck during the month of February will automatically enter the drawing. Pucks can be purchased during Frostbite home games, or at the Frostbite office during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday). You will receive one entry for each puck purchased. A variety of pucks will be available for purchase, including specialty pucks from earlier in the season.
FROSTBITE TICKETS Tickets for Frostbite home games are available at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office (10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and two hours prior to game time on Sunday), or by calling the Box Office at (518) 798-0202. Tickets can also be purchased on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Discounted group tickets for groups of 15 or more are available by calling the Frostbite office at (518) 926-7825.
FROSTBITE ON THE AIR All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dane Jackson, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player.
